Press Release:

CoinSecure, Inc. Announces Partnership with Collectors Universe (CLCT) for Breakthrough Coin Identification System
$100 Million Increase in Coin Market Valuations Projected from Use of “coin metrics”

Coin World magazine coverPalo Alto, CA – March 29, 2010 - CoinSecure Inc of Palo Alto California announced today a long-term contract with Collectors Universe (Nasdaq:CLCT) of Newport Beach, California, for use of the CoinSecure CP16 CoinAnalyzer system for enhanced rare coin grading. The CoinAnalyzer’s laser scanning technology enables the unique identification of any coin based on the inherent metallic fingerprint of the coin surfaces. This allows more accurate tracking and evaluation of coins traded in the $4 billion collectable coin marketplace, and enables new quality ratings to add value to coins.

At the 2010 American Numismatics Association National Money show in Fort Worth, Texas, Don Willis, President of the (PCGS) division of Collectors Universe, predicted that the use of the new quality rating system, called “Secure Plus ™” can help unlock over $100 million of undervalued coins in today’s marketplace. Willis said he expected the system to spark a new “gold rush” as collectors seek out coins in the market capable of being assigned a higher quality grade by the new system. PCGS is the market leader for independent coin quality grading, evaluating over one million coins annually. CoinSecure will generate revenue on a per coin basis for those coins using the new Secure Plus service.

David Hall, President of Collectors Universe, noted at ANA that the advent of the new Secure Plus system is the most significant event in the collectables coin industry since the advent of third party grading 26 years ago. Richard Haddock, President of CoinSecure, said “Similar to the field of biometrics in which technologies are used to identify people through fingerprints, face recognition, iris scans, voice prints and other unique human characteristics, “coin metrics” refers to the detection, storage, and matching technology used to identify a coin based on the intrinsic unique properties of that coin. CoinSecure Inc. has pioneered this laser-based technology and with the launch of the PCGS Secure Plus system is now the world’s leader for coin identification.”
